THE MARTIAL ART WE TEACH IS GRACIE JIU-JITSU, SOMETIMES CALLED BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU OR BJJ. GRACIE JIU-JITSU TEACHES THAT A SMALLER, WEAKER PERSON CAN DEFEND THEMSELVES AGAINST AND DEFEAT A LARGER, STRONGER OPPONENT WITH THE PROPER USE OF LEVERAGE AND TECHNIQUE, MOST NOTABLY THROUGH THE APPLICATION OF GROUND GRAPPLING TECHNIQUES, JOINT LOCKS, AND CHOKE HOLDS. 

ADDITIONALLY, THE FIGHT GYM OFFERS TRAINING SESSIONS FOCUSED ON STRENGTH & CONDITIONING. THESE ARE WORKOUTS DESIGNED TO CONDITION GRAPPLING ATHLETES FOR THE DEMANDS OF COMPETITION, BUT THEY'RE A FANTASTIC WORKOUT FOR NON-GRAPPLERS AS WELL. 
NO MATTER YOUR FITNESS LEVEL, THESE SESSIONS ARE GUARANTEED TO CHALLENGE YOU.

WHETHER YOU'RE A COMPETITIVE ATHLETE LOOKING FOR AN EDGE OR A DESK JOCKEY LOOKING TO GET BACK IN SHAPE, THIS CLASS IS GUARANTEED TO CHALLENGE YOU AND HELP YOU ACHIEVE YOUR FITNESS GOALS. RUNS CONCURRENTLY WITH THE GRACIE JIU-JITSU CORE CURRICULUM CLASS.

​THIS CLASS COVERS THE CORE MATERIAL OF THE ART: THE THE STANDING AND GROUND SELF DEFENSE TECHNIQUES THAT THE FOUNDER OF THE ART, HELIO GRACIE, SAW FIT TO INCLUDE IN THE "MASTER TEXT" OF GRACIE JIU-JITSU. THIS CLASS IS RECOMMENDED FOR BEGINNERS. RUNS CONCURRENTLY WITH THE STRENGTH & CONDITIONING SESSION.   


// GRACIE JIU-JITSU - FORUM / Q&A - MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY 6:15-7:30PM

THIS IS THE TIME TO EXPLORE SITUATIONS, DELVE INTO PHILOSOPHY, AND HAVE YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED. THIS CLASS IS RECOMMENDED FOR EXPERIENCED PRACTITIONERS. 


// GRACIE JIU-JITSU OPEN MAT / FREE SPARRING - MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY 7:30-8:30PM, SATURDAY 10:00AM-11:30AM

THIS IS THE TIME TO EXLORE AND EXPERIMENT. IF THE FORUM CLASS IS THE GARAGE, OPEN MAT IS THE TRACK. LIVE, ADAPTIVE RESISTANCE IS THE BEDROCK UPON WHICH GRACIE JIU-JITSU SKILL IS BUILT.

AT THE FIGHT GYM WE OFFER TWO WAYS TO PAY FOR CLASSES: BY THE DAY AND BY THE MONTH. A DAY PASS IS $20.00, AND ENTITLES YOU TO ATTEND CLASSES FOR ONE DAY. MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP IS $100.00, AND ENTITLES YOU TO UNLIMITED ATTENDANCE DURING THE MONTH-LONG INTERVAL FOLLOWING PAYMENT. 


MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP IS A RECURRING PAYMENT BILLED AUTOMATICALLY THROUGH PAYPAL. THE CHARGE WILL RECUR MONTHLY ON THE DATE ON WHICH YOU ORIGINALLY ENROLLED (I.E. IF YOU ENROLL ON JUNE 12, YOUR NEXT CHARGE WILL OCCUR ON JULY 12). A MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP MAY BE CANCELED AT ANY TIME BY FOLLOWING THE LINK BELOW THE PAYMENT BUTTONS. PLEASE NOTE THAT MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP CHARGE WILL RECUR UNTIL THE MEMBERSHIP IS CANCELLED. PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR UNUSED MEMBERSHIPS OR UNATTENDED CLASSES; IF YOU STOP ATTENDING IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP.

A 1-HOUR PRIVATE LESSON WITH SCOTT IS $100. PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU HAVE TO CANCEL A SCHEDULED PRIVATE TRAINING SESSION, FOR WHATEVER REASON, WE REQUEST 12 HRS NOTICE. THE FEE FOR A PRIVATE LESSON CANCELED WITHOUT SUFFICIENT NOTICE IS $30.
